I had another long conversation with Seth yesterday. There's been a major development. His boyfriend has told his wife. At least now when he vanishes for days, she knows where he is.
Interesting reaction from the wife. No one can know, not even our kids (two early 20's men). We will continue to fake being the happy couple.
They are in a conservative area, established in the community, and members of a church. She doesn't want her world turned upside down or the humiliation that will come from this.
So now Seth's bf has an ideal situation (I guess). No humiliation of divorce and scorn of the community. A free pass to hang out with his hot 33 yo bf whenever he wants.
I was going to tell Seth that he better not breakup with this guy now that he's been a home wrecker. However, he's wrecked this home under the surface, it's not obvious to anyone.
