So What?

I am really looking forward to my trip to Asia.  There are a lot of positives to traveling to Asia.  Beautiful landscapes and beaches, inexpensive, safe, good food and most importantly, the people are friendly.   I met some great people in Sg, KL and Bangkok.  I'm still in touch with them years later.  These were really nice, helpful people who really wanted to be my friend.  We clicked very quickly and that doesn't seem to happen to me at home.   I invited them to visit me in the U.S., but none have done that yet.

A few years ago I was in Shanghai with my now ex-bf.  We stayed at the Conrad Hotel.   It was amazing, and only about $130 per night.  But I don't need to stay there.  This time I told my bf to look for other hotels in that area where we could stay.  Probably we will spend $50 or $60 per night.   If I wanted to rent a furnished condo in BKK or KL, I would probably spend $500 per month.  A top resort in Hainan will probably be under $100.

I'm pushing away from American hotels.   I had high status at American Airlines and was Titanium at Marriott.   It's not worth it.  I'm not doing it with my own money.

I'm very interested in checking out Vietnam and glad I was able to add it.   I wish I could go to Da Nang or Cam Rahn, but not enough time this trip.

I'm still planning to go to Europe next year, and then I'll make a comparison.  August to October is probably a better time to visit Europe.

So what if people think I'm a sex tourist.  If I like Asia then I should just go and enjoy it.
