Amp It Up

I've put in a lot of effort in the area of fitness over the last five months.  I've lost 5 kg, better than nothing but disappointing.   My workouts are more balanced between lifting and cardio.  

I just met up with my bf in late August after being separated for nearly three months. He said he didn't notice much of a difference in me.  WTF???

I need to amp things up.  I'm spending nowhere near 1.5 hours a day lifting.  I should do more.  I'll keep cardio the same -- 5/6 days a week of spin bike or running.

At least my weight is the same as before my trip.   Didn't gain at all.  Barely exercising at all didn't help.

Let's see if I can get back to it this week.

  1. ouch.. that hurts. especially coming from your loved one.
    To have noticeable changes, you probably have to focus on strength training. Weight number doesn't do justice to your body changes because it could be water loss, retention, muscle loss, fat loss or all together.
    If you are really keen in getting in shape, i would highly recommend you to engage a personal trainer. (not fitness influencer you see on IG, where they scam you into buying useless program which you can find online)
