I've been running two days a week. A 5k (3.1 mile) run. Usually I run at around 7:45am before it gets hot. Today I was delayed and started my run at 10am. It was already 35C (95F) when my run started and 38C when I got back 35 minutes later.
This heat made the run way more difficult. I won't run in this heat again.
It's a good endorphins high. Better than I get from my spin bike.

Your smart to get an early start before the heat builds. It can be hard to do much of anything once heat & humidity rises. Glad to hear your doing well.
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't run as fast as I used to run, (or as often) I still manage to run occasionally. I don't run in the heat though as it zaps me of any energy.
